FOSMS 5  &  FAMILY FUN RUN

IN ASSOCIATION WITH CORSHAM RUNNING CLUB AND CHIPPENHAM RUGBY CLUB

ROUTE  MAP

The main race starts on the fields at 11am in the Rugby Club and heads out towards Biddestone Manor past Starveall Farm.  Turn left at the Manor and next left again (108). Follow the road to the next junction (87) turn left and follow the road till you reach a triangular junction (89) take the only right hand turn on the route and head back down the access only road to the Rugby Club.  The finish is through the car park and onto the Rugby Club fields. There will be Marshalls on all junctions. The route will be accurately measured at 5 miles by the UK Athletics approved measuring body on the 5^th of April 2008.

Since the start and finish is on the Rugby Club fields it will present a challenge for wheelchairs and prams however, these have not been ruled out of the main race but individuals undertake at their own risk.  Since the fun runs are all on the sports field's wheelchairs and prams are not permitted for Health & Safety reasons.  Pets may not accompany competitors in any of the races.

The route elevation shown was measured using a Garmin 305 Edge GPS - the route will be measured by the UK Athletics approved measuring body on Saturday 5^th April to confirm that it meets UK Athletic criteria for a 5 mile route.
