Planned Recce schedule - 2010

An email will be sent out ahead of each 'recce' run telling people where to meet and timing. There is also flexibility to swap dates over to some extent to accommodate people's requests if they cannot make the 'recce' on the date listed. Please ask.    Emma Angove  01249 447473

Important Points

There are a few important points about the day of the event, please abide by these to ensure your safety and to satisfy the fell running rules that apply to the event.

1. Check the Cotswold relay website for the parking rules for each stage, make sure you know where to go.

2. Try to make travel arrangements between the male and female runner on each stage to share cars to reduce the number of vehicles required.

3. You must carry a mobile phone with you on the day of the event.

4. You must carry a whistle on you on the day of the event.

5. You must have the mobile number of your team captain - make sure you have this from Carl or Emma.

6. Remember there are no marshalls and there may not be a water station, so please take care of yourself, carry the route instructions, make sure you have any water or food you need, and be sensible when crossing roads.

7. On the day of the event, as soon as you have completed your stage please notify by text or phone call your respective team captain when you have finished, so we know you are safe.

8. Lastly, Emma and Carl have your race numbers for the event, so please make arrangements to collect these before the day. There are no spares or replacements, so look after them and if for any reason you cannot run on the day, please pass the number back to us so we can use it for someone else to run.

Enjoy the beautiful Cotswold countryside and have a great run.
